　　What is the function of choke and kill manifold? What role does it play in the industry?
　　Choke and kill manifold is a special well control manifold composed of throttle valve, various valves, manifold and pressure gauge, which is used to control the discharge of annulus fluid and fix the back pressure of well. By injecting clear water, killing fluid and cement slurry into the annulus, the purpose of killing well, waterproofing and extinguishing fire can be achieved. It is an essential equipment in well control operation, especially in well killing operation.
　　Function of choke and kill manifold

　　The functions of choke and kill manifold are as follows:
　　(1) Through the throttling function of the throttle valve, the well killing operation is carried out, the contaminated killing fluid in the well is replaced, the wellhead casing pressure and riser pressure are controlled at the same time, the pressure control of the killing fluid column on the bottom of the well is restored, and the overflow is stopped;
　　(2) Through the pressure relief function of the throttle valve, the wellhead pressure is reduced and the "soft shut in" is realized;
　　(3) The pressure of wellhead casing is reduced and the wellhead BOP group is protected by a large amount of relief action of the blowout preventer.
　　The functions of kill manifold are as follows:
　　(1) When the wellhead is completely sealed with blind plate, the high pressure well fluid is forced into the wellbore through the kill manifold for killing operation;
　　(2) In case of blowout, clean water is injected into wellhead through kill manifold to prevent combustion and fire;
　　(3) When the blowout is on fire, it is helpful to put out the fire by injecting fire extinguishing agent into the wellbore through the kill manifold.
